When NANCY S. TATE ANTHONY was born on December 28, 1783, in Virginia, her father, JAMES, was 31 and her mother, NANCY, was 31. She married GRANT DAVIS on July 14, 1808, in Wilkes, Georgia. They had seven children in 14 years. She died on October 17, 1871, in Morgan, Georgia, having lived a long life of 87 years, and was buried there.
